It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Leon Lindsey, who was born on August 19, 1956, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Bertha and Booker Lindsey. Leon was born a twin and peacefully departed this life on August 22, 2026.

Leon was a beloved father, brother, uncle, family member, and friend. He was a special part of his family, and his presence brought love, laughter, memories, and moments that will never be forgotten. Everyone who knew Leon will remember him in their own special way and carry those memories in their hearts.

Preceded in Death

Leon was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Bertha and Booker Lindsey; his son Marques Lindsey,his twin brother, Leonard Lindsey; and his sisters, Patricia Jones, Yvonne Brown, Brenda Lindsey, Willie Fay Baskett, Barbara Bradley, and Nadine Richmond.

Those Left to Cherish His Memory

Leon leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Linda Lindsey, and his brothers, Booker Lindsey and Mark Lindsey, his Children Regina Lindsey (Jones) Eictoria (Darian) Neal, Trevelyn Lindsey, Leon (Elisha) Lindsey Jr. and Grandchildren Jurnee Dunigan-Neal, Genesis Neal, Grace Neal, Laquwan Lindsey, Eli Lindsey, Akira Lindsey, Jalen Lindsey, Taber Lindsey, Tiara Lindsey, Amaya Lindsey, Tarik Lindsey, and Amoni Lindsey along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort knowing that Leon’s life touched many people. The memories he created, the love he shared, and the moments spent together will continue to live on.

A life may come to an end, but the love we carry for someone never does. Leon will forever remain a part of his family’s story and will be remembered with love, respect, and gratitude.
