Two of her greatest blessings, were her grandsons Omar and Mark. She enjoyed going out to eat after church with Mark and never missed a Play or Program that Omar participated in during those school years. All the special moments she was there. She always looked forward to the Holidays when she would cook for her family. She loved to read, finding much comfort in that, you could find her reading her astrology, reading updated books on medicines, looking up any medicine that were prescribed to you, letting you know if it was good or bad and giving in-depth details about the medication. Not to mention, offering other options to talk about with your doctor. She was also into holistic medicine, she really believed that natural remedies was the best medicine.

Juanita enjoyed talking on the telephone, reminiscing with childhood friends from Venice, IL. Juanita always kept her Holy Bible by her bedside, for over 50+ years, she was a devoted and faithful member of St. Timothy Church.
