Shontal Sharice Bowers

Shontal Sharice Bowers, known as Shon, was born February 12, 1974 to Walter and Regina Bowers (who preceded her in death) in St. Louis, Missouri.

Shon was educated in St. Louis Public School.

She worked many different jobs over the years. Her most recent was for St. Louis Public Schools. She loved working around children therefore was excited to see their smiling faces every morning. 

Shon enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. She loved music, playing cards and throwing cookouts. Her love for those brought together the people she loved. More than anything she loved her family. She adorded her three children, Derrick Bowers (Son), Shaneick Golden (Daughter) and Angel Golden (Daughter). She loved and spoiled her three grandchildren, Alayah Mosby, Derrick Bowers Jr. and Lilly Bowers. Shon cherished time spent with her numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. 

Shon departed this life on Saturday, July 09, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memories: her son Derrick and her daughters Shaneick and Angel; her father Walter; her three brothers, Davis (Carliss), Reginald (Felicia) and Walter (Carol); her sister Laquita; her aunts and uncles; cousins and host of other family and friends. 

Preceded her in death: her grandmother Lillian Works; her mother Regina Bowers, three uncles, Frederick, Jerome and Eric Works; two aunts, Paulette Hollis and Verline Ware; and many cousins.
